The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit dismissed an appeal filed by Howard Lawrence Ellsworth, III and Theresa Lynn Ellsworth as frivolous. The court denied their motion to proceed in forma pauperis because they failed to meaningfully challenge the district court's dismissal of their claims.

LANA PATRICK v. PASCO COUNTY FLORIDA TAX COLLECTOR

The Eleventh Circuit affirmed the dismissal of a First Amendment challenge to a county tax collector's recording policy. The court held that the policy was a reasonable, viewpoint-neutral restriction in a limited public forum and that the plaintiff's second lawsuit was barred by res judicata.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed in part and dismissed in part a Veterans Court decision dismissing a veteran's appeal for lack of jurisdiction. The court held that res judicata principles do not bar a tribunal from reconsidering its own interlocutory rulings within the same proceeding.
