About

Neutral, educational summaries of court decisions. Accurate, accessible, plain-spoken.

The legal system is constantly evolving through court decisions, regulatory actions, and statutory changes that shape how laws are interpreted and applied. Accessing that information in a clear and unbiased form is often difficult. Primary sources are dense, distributed across jurisdictions, and frequently filtered through layers of interpretation before reaching the public.

This platform exists to close that gap.

Our mission is to provide accurate and current legal news drawn directly from primary sources such as court opinions, filings, and official government publications. The purpose is not to offer legal advice or advocate for any position. The purpose is to present developments as they occur, with clarity and without distortion, so readers can understand how the legal landscape is changing in real time.

We operate on a simple principle. Everyone deserves access to reliable legal information, regardless of professional background. Lawyers, technologists, business owners, and the public all benefit from visibility into how courts and agencies shape policy and precedent. By focusing on source based reporting and minimizing interpretation, we make that information more accessible and more usable.

The approach is comparable to a weather report. The objective is to track movement and present conditions as they change, grounded in verifiable records and delivered in a consistent format.

In addition to reporting, the platform incorporates technology driven workflows to organize and analyze legal data across jurisdictions and areas of law. This allows for identification of patterns and trends while maintaining fidelity to the underlying source material. We look forward to bringing those tools forward for general public consumption.

The result is a centralized and transparent view of legal change, designed for those who need to stay informed with accurate information presented as close to the source as possible. DO IT FOR THE CASELAW!

How we work

Every summary follows the same four-step pipeline. Tools change; the discipline doesn’t.

01

Capture from source

We pull opinions directly from the issuing court — the official PDF, not a third-party rehost. Source URL is preserved on every decision so you can verify the original yourself.

02

Analyze and classify

The holding is identified and classified using the latest tools available — including AI, with ancillary verification against the opinion itself. Every claim is anchored to specific text in the source.

03

Assign to an AI reporter

The case is handed to one of our AI reporters — the anchor on the byline — who writes the summary and the audio narration that explains what the court actually said.

04

Publish for the on-the-go reader

Articles go live in a friendly, consumable format — short read, paired audio, plain English. Designed for people who don’t have time to wade through a slip opinion but still want to know what changed.
